Citroen also prepared something for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Meet the DS3 Cabrio Racing

This small concept wants to join together the performance of the DS3 Racing with the advantages of having the cabrio version. And it does, because it is just 25kg heavier than the hatchback, meaning it still is fast and agile, but you can still take a stroll along the sea while looking at the stars.

The engine is the same used in the hatchback, a 1.6-liter that generates 205PS (202bhp or 151kW). The Citroën DS3 Cabrio Racing has several exterior changes that distinguish itself from other models. It has a Moondark mat textured gray paintwork, gloss black 19-inch wheels, and Black Chrome inserts on the handles, boot trim and door mirrors.

It also has the DS pattern engraved on the black canvas roof with its high-tech carbon-fiber look and on the door mirror housings. Finishing the exterior modifications, Citroen fitted this DS3 with Carmin coloured brake callipers, wheel hubs, doors with the wide side strips, and parts of the lettering and badge.

Moving to the interior, we have bucket seats with redesigned DS watch strap pattern in three types of fabric; Napa full-grain leather, DS-embossed leather and Alcantara. For the first time, Citroen offers Carmin contrasting stitching on the seats, dashboard and gearshift.

This concept will be revealed at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and later at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
