Lamborghini prepares the Gallardo replacement [Spy]

The Lamborghini Gallardo was first introduced in 2003, meaning that is on the market for 10 years, so it is time to replace it. It has been said that this new car will be named Cabrera (in my opinion, it is too similar to Carrera), but we still had not seen any test mules on the road, until today.

These pictures seem to have been taken in Denmark, and in them we can see the overall shape of the car, which won't be that much different from the Gallardo and will be inspired by the Sesto Elemento concept, and possibly by the Veneno and Egoista concepts.

The photographer said told to the Danish website Bilzonen that the engine sounded like a V6 or possibly a V8, but that goes against what Volkswagen and Lamborghini told us in the past, referring to an improved V10 engine with 600PS (592bhp or 441kW) and a dual-clutch transmission that drives all four wheels.

We might even get to see it at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
