In January, Volkswagen presented the CrossBlue diesel plug-in hybrid SUV concept at the North American International Auto Show, and today two images of a sportier version of this concept appeared online. This new concept is called the CrossBlue Coupe Concept and wants to rival the BMW X6, at least that is what seems to be its purpose.
Besides the images, we already know that will have 4890mm (192.52 inches) long and 2020mm (79.53 inches) wide. The powertrain consists of a V6 petrol engine and two electric motors, for a combined power of 415PS (409hp or 305kW). It has a range of 33km in electric mode only.
It takes 5.9 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) and has an average fuel consumption 3l/100km (94.16mpg UK or 78.4mpg USA). Find out more when the Shanghai Motor Show starts!
